This was inspired by the NEVER SEEN BEFORE EWJ 2 game box designs for Playmates back in 1995. There were a series of three “white” designs that were simple, funny and a little edgy to stand off on the shelves of the game stores. Everything back then was fluorescent greens and oranges (thanks to TMNT). So my brilliant idea was to create a game cover that would go against the masses and “pop” off the shelves. I even went as far as creating a mockup, going to a store, putting it up on the shelf and took some photos to prove my point. All in vain. . . Playmates wanted a crazy, busy cover with everything AND the kitchen sink (literally, check it out). I initially had EWJ in a vintage boxing pose on a white background. Now in 2020 I decided to take it full throttle and make a vintage boxing poster from the past. . . get yours today!
